Australia
Australia has a relatively prosperous economy with a per capita income slightly higher than that of the United Kingdom, Germany, and France in terms of purchasing power parity. It also ranked third in the United Nations Human Development Index in 2007 and sixth in The Economist's Quality of Life Index in 2005. Australia also holds the record for having four major cities on the list of the world's most livable cities: Melbourne (ranked 2nd), Perth (ranked 4th), Adelaide (ranked 7th), and Sydney (ranked 9th).
