Even elderly individuals with families, children, and sound financial standing are being denied Australian tourist visas.
After years of experience processing visa applications to Australia, IVC has noticed that the first thing anyone thinks of when applying for an Australian tourist visa is: being older, having a savings account of 500 million VND or more, having a spouse and children, and owning a house. This is not entirely wrong, but simply meeting all of these conditions does not guarantee visa approval.

Like the rejection letter mentioned above for Mr. V, he called IVC in disbelief that his application could be rejected. He is currently 62 years old, works for his family business and receives his salary via bank transfer, has social insurance, a savings account with 1 billion VND, a wife and two children, and has traveled to many countries. He trusted a service provider who claimed his application was strong and charged him $100, but ultimately received a rejection letter and felt devastated by his visa denial.
The most important criterion for obtaining an Australian tourist visa is financial transparency, and the Consulate must have a clear understanding of your finances. Transparency, in the Consulate's definition, means consistency between your salary stated in your contract and your actual salary, and between your actual salary and your savings and assets. The figures must match for the Consulate to understand and trust you.
